About Course
Digital literacy is an essential skill for education, employment, economic participation, civic engagement, and even health and well-being. However, it often amplifies existing inequalities tied to socioeconomic status, ethnicity, education, immigration status, and gender. Recognizing the critical need for digital literacy among underrepresented populations, MediaSmarts has partnered with YWCA Canada to create and deliver DigitalSmarts, a program designed to empower individuals with essential digital literacy skills.
